Explicit will be teaching our first zoom accessibility workshop on May 15th at 5 pm central standard time. We will cover: the variety of ways non and semi speaking disability can manifest, how to make the submission process accessible for the non and semi speaking community, the different types of art events that can be made accessible for the non and semi speaking community and how to begin to let go of misconceptions and ableism. This workshop will be geared towards presses, art organizations, theaters and art collectives. However individual people are also welcome to attend. The registration fee is a 15-40 dollar sliding scale. The workshop will be 90 minutes. To attend register here.
