Punk Rock Golem
Girl, you’re not from here. Not a temptress under basement light. Someone must’ve given you the wrong address- but nonetheless he’ll attempt to wrap his arms around your waist all night. Oh woman, don’t come crying to us now that you’ve chosen to mark your door, it’ll keep the women around you gossiping more. Don’t come back so late, for you, lights of welcome connection already burn, burn burn. But there is something you must be willing to learn, learn, learn. Dance! Be free, oh Sabbath dame, ‘lest our venue grow tired of your name. Girl, you’re not from here. Not a temptress under basement light. Someone must’ve given you the wrong address- but nonetheless he’ll attempt to wrap his arms around your waist all night. Oh dear woman, come back-heed our call. For the G-D of punk rock has it written: throw yourself amidst hissing wire and let the Golem speak. You’ll save us all.
Adina Burke (She/Her/Hers) is an individual who doesn’t like talking about herself very much and instead insists on writing about herself. Born in 1990 with a sweet taste in her mouth for cynical and dry wit, such characteristics can be found in her work and overall demeanor. Much to her credit, she has found a way to make this seem incredibly endearing. She is the Author of Birds Eye and Wheelchairs, Whips and Bondage Tape. Her band Sh3ba recently came out with their first EP titled Never Left The Throne.
